We value sustainability at Nordtrice. We believe in creating beautiful candles while minimizing our environmental impact. Any candles that are damaged or imperfect are never wasted, they are carefully remelted and repurposed, ensuring no wax goes to waste. To protect our candles during transportation, we use a plastic wrap, a decision we’ve made after careful consideration and trials. While we continue to explore more sustainable alternatives, we prioritize preventing damage to avoid unnecessary waste. Our other packaging materials, such as paper and cardboard, are 100% recyclable, reflecting our dedication to eco-friendly practices. Transparency is key to our mission, and we are committed to sharing the journey of our production process with you, so you can feel confident in the choices you make. 

In our candle studio and manufacture in Copenhagen we use two types of wax. The stearin wax for the base and decoration of our taper candles. Stearin is a sustainable alternative to paraffin, and it’s perfect for clean, drip-free burns without releasing harmful fumes.  Stearin wax candles are unscented.

For our scented candles we use soy wax which is natural and vegan burning evenly. 

All of the products we are using are EU-certified, so you can make sure that the candles that we are producing are safe for environment as well as everyday using.
